Gerald "Gerry" Heyman, 71, died Tuesday (Oct. 9) at the V. A. Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born in Ohio on Sept. 21, 1941 to the late Walter & Phyllis Inez (Balyeat) Heyman. Surviving are his daughters, Tara Heyman (Kari Speer) of St. Joe, IN and Elizabeth Cristofolini (Clint Barfell) of Auburn, IN; 3 grandchildren, Sammara Heyman, Dakotah Spradlin, David Cristofolini; 1 great grandchild, T. J. VanDerbosch; a sister, Margaret Heyman of Auburn, IN; two brothers, John (Janet) Heyman of Skinner Lake, IN and Larry Heyman of Zephyr Hills, FL. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, David H. Heyman and also his twin brother, Jerald Heyman and 1 sister, Patty Jean Heyman. He worked as a manager for S & S Tire in Auburn and was an army veteran. He was a member of the Butler American Legion and the Butler Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was an avid Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees fan. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, Oct. 14th from 1-5 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, IN.
