Flossie Chapman, 73, died Monday at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born in Continental, OH to the late John & Pauline (Ranes) Scott. She married Rhett Chapman on September 21, 1963 in Ft. Wayne, IN and he preceded her in death on December 31, 2010. Surviving are 4 sons, Jack Chapman of Spencerville, IN, Jamie Chapman of St. Joe, Jeff Chapman of Auburn, and Jonathan Chapman of St. Joe; a daughter, Holly Michael of Ft. Wayne; 5 grandchildren - Ashley & Christopher Michael, Kaydence & Raegan Chapman and Velaria Boviall; 3 great grandchildren - Kaedan & Serena Mowery and Harley Michael; 3 brothers, Fred (Joann) Scott of Continental, OH, Frank (Sharon) Scott of Continental, OH and Thomas (Sandy) Scott of Paulding, OH. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Robert, Charles & Darrold Scott and 8 sisters, Mary Axon, Ellen Shaw, Ester Grubb, Maggie Carpenter, Martha Syndrom, Florence Collins, Violet Rupert and Mina Mae Scott. She retired from Magnavox. Flossie enjoyed canning, gardening, baking, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Calling will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 10 am the funeral home with Pastor Ken Herb officiating. Burial in White City Cemetery, Spencerville, IN. Memorials to the family.
