Eugene Eicher, 65, went home to be with the Lord at his home in rural Grabill, IN. He was born on May 15, 1949 in Grabill, IN to the late Daniel & Marie (Graber) Eicher. He married Margaret Lengacher on July 6, 1968 in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Eicher of Grabill; sons, Dewayne (Laura) Eicher of Spencerville, David (Clara) Eicher of St. Joe; daughters, Debborah (Roman) Miller of Spencerville, Deloris (Jonas) Bontrager of Spencerville; 16 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, Samson (Wilma) Eicher of Butler, Timothy (Judy) Eicher of Grabill, Thomas (Hana) of Grabill; sisters, Janetta (Willard) Hochstetler of Hicksville, OH, Marietta (Melvin) Roes of Ontario, CA, Suetta (Harvey) Graber of Grabill. He was preceded in death by a son, Darin J. Eicher and a sister, Phyllis Eicher.

He was a part owner & operator of the family business, Eicher Excavating in Grabill, IN. He was a retired Pastor from Fellowship Haven in Woodburn, IN. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family but his greatest passion was to tell others about Christ.

Calling will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 5-8 pm and on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at The Ekklesia of Harlan (12616 Spencerville Road, Harlan, IN 46743). Services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 10 am at The Ekklesia with Pastor Tim Eicher officiatng. Burial in Fellowship Haven Church Cemetery.
