Joan Mills, 88, died Sunday at her home in St. Joe, IN. She was born in St. Joe, IN to the late Harry & Lula (Lutz) Shuff.  She married Kenneth W. Mills on September 17, 1960 at Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on January 23, 1996.

Surviving are a son, Mike (Terri) Mills of St. Joe; daughters, Linda (Tim) Bishop of St. Joe and Tammy Hickman of Spencerville; 3 grandchildren & 4 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren & 7 step great grandchildren; brothers, Chalmer Shuff of Glendale, AZ, Bill (Vivian) Shuff of Fontana, CA, and Jim Shuff of Auburn; sisters, Claudia Hulbert and Faye Tarlton, both of Auburn; sisters-in-law, Betty and Joy Shuff of Auburn.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Mills, Jr.; step grandson, Jason Snook; son-in-law, Alan Hickman; sisters, Janice Witte, Kate Clady, Mary Jane Snook, Linda Sattison, Kaye Ells, Jackie Walker, Shirley Chapman and Roseann Kinsey; brothers, Harry Jr., Franklin, Bud & Bob Shuff.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joe Church of Christ.  She loved to send cards to people; play Yahtzee and spend time with her family.

Calling will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 4-8 pm at St. Joe Church of Christ (508 Jefferson St. St. Joe).  Services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11 am with calling one hour prior at the church with Pastor Donny Goff officiating.  Burial in Riverside Cemetery, St. Joe, IN.
