Ernie Magner, 70, died Friday at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born in Ann Arbor, MI to the late Wilbur P. & Virgie (Calhoun) Magner. He married Fern Lengacher on November 20, 1971 at Central Mennonite Church in Ft. Wayne.

Surviving are his wife, Fern Magner of Grabill; a sister, Margaret Magner of Ft. Wayne; brother-in-law, Walter (Jeanette) Lengacher of Leo; sisters-in-law, Joann (Henry) Byler of Leo and Doris (Don) Holm of Leo; and many nieces & nephews.

Ernie worked as a foreman at Plastic Composites Factory and for the past 10 years had been working as a cashier at Ricker's in Leo. He loved fishing, playing cards and bowling.

Calling will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 5-8 pm at The Ekklesia in Harlan (12616 Spencerville Road Harlan, IN 46743). Services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 11 am with calling one hour prior at The Ekklesia in Harlan. Pastors Bill Striegel & James Graber will officiate. Burial in Schlatter Cemetery, Leo, IN.
