Elvin F. Fitzsimmons, Jr., 73, died Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Parkview DeKalb in Auburn, IN.  He was born in Toledo, OH on October 22, 1952 to the late Elven F. & Lucille M. (Glick) Fitzsimmons.  He married Nancy L. Carver on March 2, 1996 in Defiance County, OH and she preceded him in death on July 21, 2025.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Pearl (Theodore) Schlosser & Donna Fitzsimmons; brothers, Lester Fitzsimmons & Orville "Gene" (Shari) Fitzsimmons.

He worked in janitorial at Air-Way Manufacturer in Hamilton, IN.  He was an Ohio State sports fan and basically loved all sports.

Per his request, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
