E. Bernice Koenemann, 92, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at her home in Harlan, IN.  She was born on December 29, 1931 in Allen County, IN to the late Raymond D. & Bessie M. (Grace) Argerbright.  She married Raymond Koenemann on May 28, 1955 in Thurston County, WA and he preceded her in death on April 17, 2003.

Surviving are her children, Debbie (Michael) Baldwin of San Antonio, TX, Dennis (Mary) Koenemann of Cohutta, GA, Kerry (Colleen) Koenemann of Hahira, GA and Ivan (Lesley) Koenemann of Harlan, IN; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and a sister, Irene Kite of Ft. Wayne.

She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Koenemann, a brother and 5 sisters.

Bernice was a homemaker and general laborer at the Boat Factory in Spencerville, IN and later worked for Tom Miller in St. Joe, IN.  She loved to do word search puzzles and spend time with her grandchildren.

Calling will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 4-7 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, IN.  Services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 11 am with calling one hour prior with Pastor Darrell Miller officiating.  Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Ft. Wayne, IN.
