David Lavon Yant, 72, died Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN.  He was born on June 26, 1949 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Kenneth M. & Esther E. (Bandelier) Yant.

Surviving are his sister, Joyce C. Hetrick Kammeyer of Woodburn, IN.

He was a self-employed plumber and worked for Yant Plumbing & Heating in New Haven, IN.  He also loved playing his music loudly.

Services will be held on Wednesday (May 4, 2022) at 11 am with calling one hour prior at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, IN.  Pastor Ryan Koch will officiate.  Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in New Haven, IN

Memorials may be given to the family for medical expenses.
