Obituary

Charles N. Belcher, 87, died Sunday at his daughter's home in Ft. Wayne, IN.  He was born in Beverly, KY to the late John B. Knuckles & Myrtle (Saylor) Farmer.  He married Reathia Dunn on November 13, 1980 in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Surviving are his wife, Reathia Belcher of Harlan; children, Karen (Larry) Love, Paul (Laura) Belcher, Elyjah O'Hara, Emmanuel O'Hara, Louise (Frank) LeMay, Roy Belcher, Charlene (Jordan) Saylor, Charles Belcher, Christi (Jerry) Bibbs and Lorrie Richardson all of Ft. Wayne and Kathy Ritchie of Jackson, KY; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; brothers, Cornelius Belcher of Ft. Wayne and Alan Belcher of Louisville, KY.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Arlie Ritchie & several brothers & sisters.

He retired from Perfection Bakery after 40 years and was a member of Chapel of Praise Church in River Haven, IN.  He loved to fish, hunt and plant garden.

Calling will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 11-3 & 5-8 pm at Chapel of Praise Church (626 Spillson Avenue River Haven, IN).  Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11 am with calling 2 hours prior to the service.  Pastor Morris Mullins will officiate.  Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery, Ft. Wayne, IN.

Memorials may be given to the family.
