Carroll Herschberger, 73, died Sunday at her home in St. Joe, IN. She was born on January 29, 1941 in St. Joe to the late Harry & Mabel (Boger) Loucks. She married Melvin Herschberger on June 18, 1961 in the Spencerville United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Melvin of St. Joe; a daughter, Babette Herschberger of Miami, FL; a son, Derek (Tammie) Herschberger of St. Joe; 5 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara (Elvin) Kimmel of Ft. Wayne; and a brother, Terry Loucks of Green Bay, WI. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Richard & Robert Loucks and 2 sisters, Harriett Perry & Phyllis Bittner.

Carroll retired from Eaton Corporation and for 10 years she and her husband had an antique business located at the Shops of Grabill. They also spent 6 months of each year in Florida. Carroll had a great interest in interior design and she created a beautiful home. She enjoyed gardening, beach combing and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
