Carolyn Kay Kauffman, 57, went into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, July 25, 2019 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer and GBS.  She was born in Adams County, IN on December 15, 1961 to James & Anna Mae (Hilty) Lengacher.  She married Paul Kauffman on April 25, 1981 in Harlan, IN.

Surviving are her husband, Paul of Woodburn; sons, Jason (Debbie) Kauffman of Woodburn & Norman (Rose) Kauffman of Grabill; a daughter, Ashley (Glenn) King of Grabill; 9 grandchildren - Allison, Cheyenne, Abigail, Savannah, Braylon, Teresa, Chelsie, Sadie & Carson; her parents, James & Anna Mae Lengacher of Woodburn; brother, Steve (Darlene) Lengacher of Woodburn; sisters, Judy (Tim) Eicher of Grabill & Grace (Brad) Hochstetler of Woodburn; and 13 nieces & nephews.

Carolyn cleaned homes, enjoyed cooking and was well known for her BBQ chicken & potato salad.  She loved to garden and spend time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of Fellowship Haven Church in Woodburn, IN.

Calling will be held Friday, July 26, 2019 from 5-8 pm and on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Fellowship Haven Church (9115 Brush College Road  Woodburn, IN).  Services will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 2 pm at Ekklesia Church (12616 Spencerville Road Harlan, IN).
