Bette Jean Miller, 81, died Thursday, December 26, 2024 at her home in Ft. Wayne, IN.  She was born on May 10, 1943 in Lancaster, PA to the late Lester & Mary (Keener) Miller.  She married James L. Miller on August 21, 1971 in Grabill, IN and he preceded her in death on October 23, 2023.

Surviving are her children, David (Caroline) Miller of Woodburn, Darlene (Gary) Schwartz of Woodburn, Ron (Donna) Miller of Ft. Wayne; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth Miller of Leo, Carol (Ed) Miller of St. Joe and Christine (Larry) Yoder of Hicksville, OH.  She was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Betty Lou Miller and an infant brother, David E. Miller.

Bette loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Cuba Mennonite Church.  She was a loving homemaker who served faithfully as a pastor's wife for over 50 years.  She enjoyed serving others and spending time with her family, as well as gardening and caring for her flower beds.

Calling will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 2-6 pm at Cuba Mennonite Church (10835 Cuba Road, Harlan, IN).  Services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 10 am with calling one hour prior at the church with Pastors Ron Miller & Micah Miller officiating.  Burial in Yaggy Cemetery, Grabill, IN.
