Basil Wisler, 47, found peace on Sunday at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born in Lafayette, IN to Neil Hamilton Wisler and the late Mary Lou (Klopfenstein) Wisler.

Surviving are his father, Neil of Spencerville, IN; sisters, Julie (Michael) Starkey of Auburn, IN; Susan Schowe of Ft. Wayne, IN and nieces, Cecilia, Madeline & Olivia Schowe.

He worked as the manager for the Leo-Cedarville Sewer District for 15 years. He loved to hunt, fish, fly remote control airplanes, restore cars and was an avid reader & seeker of knowledge. He loved to spend quality family time with his nieces.

Calling will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home in Spencerville, IN. Services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11 am with calling one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial in Leo Memorial Park Cemetery.
