Barry John Coe, 61, passed away from a brief illness with his family at his side on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He was born in Groton, Connecticut on June 28, 1962 to the late John Burr & Marjorie Adeen (Anderson) Coe.  He married Treva Mae Lengacher on June 27, 1992 in Leo, Indiana.

Surviving are his wife, Treva M. Coe of Grabill; daughter, Shonda (Tanner) Eicher of Harlan and a sister, Cami (Donald) Heitger of Columbia City.  He was preceded in death by a son, Luke David Coe and a brother, John Burr Coe, Jr.

Barry worked as a electromagnetic compatibility lab tech at Franklin Electric in Bluffton, Indiana.  He was a volunteer Grabill firefighter for 24 years and volunteered for the Grabill Historical Society.  He loved working on cars, ham radios and collecting stamps.  He also loved to tinker and build electronic gadgets.

Calling will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at The Ekklesia in Harlan (12616 Spencerville Road, Harlan, IN).  Services will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 3 pm at the church with Lael Barkman & James Graber officiating.  A private family burial will be held later at Covington Memorial Gardens in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Memorials may be given towards the funeral expenses.
