Anita C. Baker, 77, died Monday evening in Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born in Delaware County, IN to the late Harold A. & Ruth (Mullinex) Lawson. She married Robert Duane Baker on August 15, 1954 in St. Joe, IN. He survives in Ft. Wayne, IN. Also, surviving are a daughter, Pam Baker, a grandson, Bo Gonzalez, a granddaughter, Rebeca Gonzalez, a son-in-law, Manuel Gonzalez all of Ft. Wayne, four sisters, Diana Reynolds of Carmel, IN, Lynn Perry of Cedar Rapids, IA, Candi (Rick) Smith of Ft. Wayne and Jeri (John) Donnelly of Brown Summit, NC. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Austin Baker and a brother-in-law, Jack Reynolds. She worked as a legal secretary in Chicago and Ft. Wayne for 20 years and as an administrative assistant for Lincoln Financial Insurance company for 10 years. She volunteered for the American Red Cross, Cancer Society and was a docent for the Ft. Wayne Museum of Art. She was an avid reader and loved the outdoors. She was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church in St. Joe, IN. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home in Spencerville, IN.
