Amelia Graber, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Monday at her residence. She was born in Belleville, PA to the late Simon J. & Susan Peachey. She married Jeromia Graber on September 22, 1973 in Belleville and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2011.
Surviving are daughters, Margaret (Jerry) Wickey of Grabill and Perla Graber of Grabill; son, Melvin (Deb) Graber of Grabill; son-in-law, Ferman (Rebbeca) Graber of Grabill; 23 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren and brothers, Ezra (Nannie) Peachey of Belleville and Sylvanus Peachey of Belleville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Graber; daughter-in-law, Susan Graber; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and brothers & sisters.
She was a homemaker and a member of Cuba Mennonite Church. She loved flowers and gardening. Before she was married, she was a missionary nurse in Belize (Hattieville) Central America. After she was married, she and her husband traveled back and forth to Sibun, Central America where they helped start a mission.
Calling will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Cuba Mennonite Church 10835 Cuba Road Harlan, IN. Services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10 am with calling 1 hour prior at the church with Pastors Terry Myers, Ron Miller & Ray Stutzman officiating. Burial in Yaggy Cemetery, Grabill, IN.
