Alvina L. Johnson, 83, died Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville, IN.  She was born in Grabill, IN on September 7, 1942 to the late James A. & Evelyn V. (White) Johnson.

Surviving are a brother & sister-in-law, Gilbert (Beverly) Johnson of Grabill, sister, Kathryn Gustin of Grabill; nephews, Rex Miles of Hatfield, WI, Terry Miles of Neillsville, WI, Brian Johnson of Grabill, Steve Johnson of Grabill, Michael Gustin of Grabill; niece, Jacqueline Myers of Grabill and a friend, June Duehmig of Kendallville.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Dorthy Miles & Letitia Johnson; brothers-in-law, William Miles & Jerry Gustin, and nephews, Rick Miles, William Miles, Jr. and Mike Miles.

Alvina worked at General Electric and loved to travel, golf and bowl.

Calling will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 3-6 pm at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville, IN.  Services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 1 pm with calling 2 hours prior.  Brian Johnson will officiate.

Burial in Riverside Cemetery, St. Joe, IN.
