Alan Hickman, 63, died Saturday, June 30, 2018 at his home in Spencerville, IN.  He was born in Marion, IN on March 16, 1955 to John Hickman and the late Beatrice (Hughes) Hickman.  He married Tammy Mills on May 28, 1988 in the St. Joe Church of Christ and they celebrated 30 years of marriage.

Surviving are his wife, Tammy of Spencerville; children, Jon Hickman (Jennifer James) of Fremont; Rachel (Jeremy) Kaiser of Butler; 6 grandchildren; siblings, Mike (Patricia) Hickman of Ashley, Kay Jameison of Hicksville, OH, Terri (Pat) Lortie of Antwerp, OH, Sherri (Mark) Leavell of Hicksville, OH; father, John Hickman of Hicksville, OH; mother-in-law, Joan Mills of St. Joe; brother-in-law, Mike (Terri) Mills of St. Joe; sister-in-law, Linda (Tim) Bishop of St. Joe.  He was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Kenneth Mills, Jr. & Don Jameison and father-in-law, Kenneth Mills, Sr.

Alan worked in production at Rea Magnet in Ft. Wayne.  He loved to hunt, fish, camp and spending time with his family and dogs.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11 am at the St. Joe Church of Christ (508 Jefferson Street St. Joe, IN).
