A. B. Ward, 77, died Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Parkview DeKalb in Auburn, IN.  He was born on May 28, 1947 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Dale F. & Leota D. (Hart) Ward.

Surviving are his daughter, Tracy (Randy) Miller of St. Joe; son, Steve (Trisha) Ward of Wauseon, OH; grandchildren, Victoria (Ryan) Pfefferkorn of Waterloo, Justin Miller of Terre Haute, Alyxandria Ward of Columbus, OH, Chelsea (Zach) Burch of Swanton, OH, Jordan Ward of Swanton, OH; great grandchildren, Harleigh, Bodhi, Judith, Aspen & Oakley; brother, James E. Davis of Montpelier and a sister, Karen (Burnett) McKnight of Butler.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Luker; nephew, Michael B. Luker and great nephew, Ean M. Luker.

A. B. worked as a frame body repairman for 15 years at Maxton Auto and 32 years for Kitchen's Auto Body.  He loved to farm, work on antique tractors and watch FOX News.  He was a member of the Cedar Creek Antique Tractor Club and the Butler American Legion Post 202.  He was also a Vietnam Army Veteran.

A private family graveside service will be held.
